Hi! I’m My (pronounced “me”)—the creative soul behind the cookies and crafts you see here. I’m a wife, a proud mom of two, and a lover of all things handmade. I believe life is worth celebrating, and that even the smallest details can make the biggest moments feel extra special.
My journey began in the kitchen, baking cakes as a little girl and carefully trying to smooth out the frosting to perfection. Over time, that childhood hobby grew into a full-blown passion. I found myself baking late into the night, crafting personalized treats for friends and family, and pouring love into every creation.
After my second child was born, life got busy and I stepped away from baking for quite a while. But everything shifted in 2022 when I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. That chapter changed me in ways I never expected. It taught me to slow down, reconnect with what brings me joy, and create with more purpose. During recovery, I found myself turning back to the things I’ve always loved. I picked up calligraphy, started experimenting with new tools (hello, laser cutter!), and eventually made my way back into the kitchen. Creating became my therapy—it brought me peace, happiness, and a sense of self during one of the hardest seasons of my life.
Today, I blend sweets with thoughtful gifts, combining cookies and creativity into one-of-a-kind pieces that bring joy to your celebrations. Whether it’s a custom gift tag, a birthday cookie set, or a personalized keepsake, everything I make is a little piece of my story.

Founded in 2023 by small business owner and busy mom of two, My Alarcon, Malary Beth Sweets is the creative outlet she dreamed up outside of her corporate career. The name itself is a blend of what matters most to her—“Malary” combines her first and last name, and “Beth” is a sweet tribute to her kids.
